Great River DX

The Great River DX association formed in 2006 and is dedicated to pursuing DX in whatever form it takes. We are a group of loosely knit Amateur Radio enthusiasts that enjoy working, talking about and chasing DX. We are located in the Midwest near Hannibal, MO and Quincy, IL, along the Mississippi River. We do not have an established organization and our communication is mainly via the Great RIver DX email reflector. To join our group you simply join our email reflector. We meet about once a year, most of our busines is carried on via email. When we do meet, it is mostly a social affair to eat, talk, brag and share our experiences with each other. If you have any comments or questions about or group or this web page, please fill out our contact form. If you want to join our group, click here.

  CC Cluster node NG9R

Please use NG9R for your DX spotting needs. NG9R is a CC Cluster node and is fully supported by VE7CC, as well as automatically updating LoTW users, DXCC, entities, prefix changes and call sign databases. It gets the same spots as fast, if not faster than any of the web based spotting sites plus, it has many advantages in filtering and sending messages to other GRDX members. DX chasing is more fun when you can share it with others and if we all connect to the same node, we know who is looking and who is available for a chat or group messages. NG9R can be reached via telent at ng9r.homeip.net port 23 or via 2 meters on 144.910 MHz. The program CC User is highly recomended for telnet or packet use. It can be downloaded at http://www.ve7cc.net/

An online user manual for CC User can be found here.
