Rules and a country list can be found here QSL's will not be needed, just send your totals on a periodic basis to ng9r@ng9r.com or post them to the GRDX email reflector and they will be added to the 2012 GRDX Challenge standings 2011 Great River DX Challenge Results Congratulatiosn to Jay, KA9CFD, on winning the first Great River DX Challenge!! Starting January 1, 2011 0000 UTC, the Great RIver DX Challenge will begin. We are doing this to generate on the air activity by the group. The goal is to work as many DXCC countries during the 2011 calendar year as you can. This is DXCC entities only, not band/countires or band/modes. Rules are pretty simple. Any legal mode that does not use a repeater or internet as part of the link (with possibly the exception of a remote base station controlled over the internet, but normal DXCC rules would apply). All QSO's need to be made between 0000 UTC January 1, 2011 and 2359 UTC December 31, 2011. No QSL's needed, we will use the honor system. Post your updates to the club email reflector and they will be collected and added to this page so we can see the running totals as we go along. HF and VHF contacts count, but not satellite QSO's. |
